Creating Awesome

The best investment one can make is in themselves.  Despite the odds of fate, I made a choice to learn the art of Bharatnatyam (Indian Classical Dance), an investment made out of sheer determination and blind faith.  Everyone has a story - this is mine!  I hope to inspire you to be the best you can be and then some more.  Happy Dancing Everyone!

Dance Your Dreams

Dancer's Pen

“The future is inside of you.  God has things in you that you haven’t tapped into yet. The reason why you woke up this morning is that God is not finished with you yet. He has something else for you to do. You haven’t sung your best song yet.  You haven’t thought your greatest thought.  You haven’t written down your greatest idea. You haven’t dreamed your best dream. You haven’t laughed your best laugh. You haven’t had your greatest day yet.  It’s somewhere inside of you.  There is all kinds of stuff down inside of you waiting to come out.  You’re a miracle looking for a place to happen.  You’re a testimony looking for a place to be delivered.  You have all kinds of things locked up inside of you that are about to come forth for such a time as this.  The time is right.  The stage is set.  The conditions are in order and something awesome is about to happen in your life.  Every day that you wake up in the morning, it’s a sign, the best it yet to come.” - Paster T.D. Susan Abraham - Dancer

Susan Abraham is trained in the art of Bharat Natyam (Kalakshetra) under Guru Kshama Shah, artistic director of Mudra Dance Academy.  She initiated her dance studies with her arangetram on June 25, 2011.  She has participated in all of the company's dance production such as Meera, Shiva Shakti, Ramayana, Seasons and Vastrakruthi.  She is receiving advanced training from her Guru in dance.  She is also an assistant teacher at MDA.  Furthering her passion for dance, she is also the makeup artist for Mudra Dance Academy arangetrams and can be contacted for dance makeup related events.

Susan Abraham - Engineer

Susan Abraham is a graduate of Triton College (Mechatronical Engineering). Her love of learning and creating led her to pursue engineering.  Combining her love of teaching and engineering, she has immersed herself at Triton College's Continuing Education Department and teaches robotics through their summer programs.  She is currently looking to pursue engineering in the private field while giving back to the community.

Susan Abraham - Motivator

Susan is the perfect example of a woman determined to succeed.  She does not let her circumstances nor her troubles define her.  Her love of dance has led her on a journey that has helped her give back to her professional workplace, her culture and everyone whose path she crosses.  Her brainchild "Dance Your Dreams" comes from her love of dance and how it taught her to follow her dreams.  A firm believer in her faith, she believes that everything happens for a reason, everyone she meets has a purpose and there will be a time to experience all that life has to offer.
